Personal Tax Returns
Individual federal and state tax return preparation by a CPA and Enrolled Agent. We cover all income sources, deductions, and credits, and look for everything you are entitled to.
What This Covers
Personal tax return preparation covers your federal and state individual returns. That includes all the income sources that flow onto your personal return. Wages and salaries, investment income, retirement distributions, rental income, and self-employment income reported on Schedule C. Simona reviews your full picture and prepares a complete, accurate return.
Simona is a Certified Public Accountant and an Enrolled Agent. The CPA credential means she has passed a rigorous exam and met state licensing requirements. The Enrolled Agent credential is granted by the IRS and authorizes her to represent taxpayers before the IRS. When she prepares your return, you are working with someone who has real depth in tax and the credentials to back it up.
All Income Sources
All Income Sources
We handle whatever lands on your personal return. Wages and W-2 income. Interest and dividends. Capital gains from investments. Retirement distributions. Rental income. Self-employment income for sole proprietors and single-member LLCs that flows through Schedule C. Your return reflects everything accurately.
Deductions and Credits
Deductions and Credits
We look at every deduction and credit you may be entitled to. Itemized deductions like mortgage interest, state and local taxes, and charitable contributions. Above-the-line deductions like retirement contributions and student loan interest. Credits for education, childcare, energy improvements, and more. We apply what fits your situation.
Who This Serves
This service is for individuals filing personal tax returns. That includes employees with straightforward W-2 income, people with investment accounts, retirees drawing from retirement plans, and business owners whose income flows onto their personal return. If you run a business as a sole proprietor or a single-member LLC, your business income is reported on Schedule C of your personal return, and that is included here.
What we do not prepare are separate business entity returns. If your business is structured as an S-corporation, partnership, or C-corporation, those entities file their own returns and that work is outside the scope of this service. But if you are a sole proprietor or single-member LLC whose business activity comes through on your personal return via Schedule C, we handle that along with the rest of your individual return.
Sole Proprietors and Single-Member LLCs
Sole Proprietors and Single-Member LLCs
If you are running your own business and have not elected to be taxed as a corporation, your business income flows directly onto your personal return through Schedule C. We handle that reporting along with the rest of your individual return. The Schedule C portion covers your business income, expenses, and the resulting profit or loss.
Multiple Income Streams
Multiple Income Streams
Many of our clients have income from more than one source. Maybe you have a W-2 job and do some consulting on the side. Maybe you have investment accounts and rental property alongside your main business. We pull it all together into one accurate personal return that accounts for every source.
What You Get
You get a federal return and state return that are complete and accurate. We prepare everything, review it for errors, and make sure the numbers tie out before anything gets filed. If you file in more than one state, we handle that too. You also get a preparer who understands the tax code and knows where to look for savings.
Beyond the return itself, you are working with a CPA and Enrolled Agent who can answer questions and explain what is happening with your taxes. If something comes up later, like an IRS notice or a question about a prior year, you have someone who knows your situation and can help you work through it.
Accuracy and Compliance
Accuracy and Compliance
Your return is prepared correctly the first time. We reconcile your documents, check for missing information, and review the numbers before filing. You sign a return that accurately reflects your income, deductions, and credits and meets all federal and state requirements.
Finding What You Are Entitled To
Finding What You Are Entitled To
We look for the deductions and credits that apply to your situation. That includes common items like the standard deduction or itemized deductions, as well as less obvious opportunities that people sometimes miss. We make sure you are not leaving legitimate savings on the table.
